   Tasting Notes

This strikingly dark crimson wine opens with an inviting nose of roasted herbs, wild cherry, and bramble fruits, intertwined with notes of crushed stone and glove leather. On the palate, smashed raspberry, red and black currants, and dark plum mingle with mocha and violet pastille. The wine offers a velvety, silky mouthfeel with a broad, dense mid-palate, leading to a long finish of baking spices, cocoa powder, and wild mountain blackberry.

Vinification

Primary 12-15 days in stainless steel tanks, spending 30+ days on skins. Each parcel was hand-sorted from the vineyard, with gentle fermentation and exteded maceration culminating over 30+ days. Cellared in 57% new French oak for 21 months.
